Principal Biography

Sharon Elshaug is a Principal of Insightful Solutions, Inc., a management consulting firm specializing in assisting organizations reach their strategic objectives through alignment of business processes and technology.

Sharon is an innovative and business-centric professional with many years of leadership experience in various industries. Both her peers and customers have recognized Sharon as an insightful visionary and creative thinker. Her areas of expertise include business process analysis, design and reengineering, technology/business alignment, strategic planning, information technology project management, methodology & process development facilitation and business application development.

Prior to Insightful Solutions, Sharon spent seven years in the life sciences industry as a business unit architect, analyst and project manager, delivering innovative solutions in support of clinical research, document management, manufacturing and quality assurance. Previous experience also includes work in business process and IT project management for the written & electronic media and business services industries, as well as process design and reengineering, and project management in the United States Marine Corps.

Sharon is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants, and holds BME and MS in Administration degrees from Central Michigan University. Additionally, she is active in a number of local business and civic organizations.
