Have you been hearing some strange new terms lately, such as Wikis? Social Networking? Microblogging? Folksonomies? Have you wondered what they could all possibly mean, as well as how they may affect you and your business?
All of these terms (and more) fall under the category of what has become widely known as “Web 2.0,” also known as “the Social Web.” WHO uses Web 2.0 tools? WHAT do these tools do? WHEN, WHERE, and WHY might you use them? Are you even sure you want to spend the time these new tools, given that you already have more than enough to do?
This targeted seminar explains—in simple terms—HOW many Consultants and Small Businesses are already successfully integrating Web 2.0 Technologies into their existing business models. If you’ve been curious to learn about how Web 2.0 may improve your ongoing strategies for Marketing, Advertising, Branding, Social Capital and much more, this interactive workshop is designed to help you get started.
Attendees are welcome and encouraged to bring laptops and/or handheld mobile devices (along with any necessary power sources and/or power strips) for increased interactivity.
