About John Rodolff

John Rodolff is President of Venture Builder, Incorporated, a business consulting firm. He has been running his own companies for more than 10 years, having been the Managing Partner of another business consulting firm, an LLC, before founding Venture Builder in 2001. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, he worked for 10 years at a $240 million enterprise, where his chief responsibilities were strategic positioning and business planning for operational units of the larger enterprise.

Venture Builder’s target market is professional service providers, ranging in size from solo practitioners to practices of 20 professionals. Examples of professional service providers are IT consultants, attorneys, graphic and web designers, financial advisors, accountants, and insurance agents. The firm’s specialty is showing clients how to grow revenues without cold calling—or cold mailing—and without soliciting their clients for business.

John has been a speaker at a number of professional associations and companies, including the local chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers, CalCPA’s Accounting Day in San Diego, Discovery Bank, the Greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce, and workshops at the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce.
