 As buyers of consulting services are becoming significantly more focused on short-term fixes, cheaper solutions and generic “deliverables” – and less knowledgeable of the importance of the consultant's methodologies, capabilities and long-term benefits of expertise – how can a consultant sell in today's market, to his or her best potential clientele, without losing them very early in the process?

About Mike:
Mike Barney, is a CMC and has been an adjunct faculty member at the prestigious University of San Diego, teaching various business, marketing, research and international business courses. He also taught Management Consulting at San Diego State University.
Mike was formerly the Director of Consumer Research for MIS/National Decision Systems (Equifax/NDS). Financial management experience is also highlighted by positions including Bank Manager for American Express International Banking Corporation in Europe, Division Product Marketing Manager with American Express, and Operations training at Bank of America.
